"This is a nice, old-fashioned, family-run hotel close by the lake shore, and about ten minutes walk from the rail stations and boat pier. Staff were nice and friendly and the hotel is clean, and quite basic - there was a good breakfast. A good option for anyone who wants a simple stay."

"Going in we knew it was a historic building but the room was dark and minimal compared to other similar facilities we have stayed at. No one was at the desk to check us in, we had to call on phone at desk to pay for parking before getting code to lock box for key to room. There was no mention of a code to get back in the building in the evening. Breakfast was the standard continental breakfast. Beautiful area with an old church and covered bridge."

"This was the highlight of our trip! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are amazing! From the minute we arrived we were welcomed, we had the best meal, the fondue was delicious. "No A/C— ventilation worked only half the time. When we checked in the manager told us that were going to get an upgrade., but in reality, she downgraded us to the old building. The shower was tiny. The only good thing I can say is one of the staff members which was a male who is very helpful and gave us good recommendations on restaurants. I think his name started with an F. He had kind of balding head. He was nice."
