"The room was clean and quite big for our needs but it was overlooking a very busy and extremely noisy highway so it was very difficult to have a good night’s rest. In addition, there were many small children staying in the hotel and making lots of noise running and jumping without parental supervision. The hotel staff did not seem to care about the turmoil. There were a few fast food places very close to the hotel and one Mexican restaurant which actually served us delicious food after hours....

I suggest that the first picture shown on Expedia should be the motel itself not the restaurant across the lake. I expected a bar. I expected a pool table room and there was no such thing. "Be prepared to not be able to park at, or near, the hotel. Hotel has a handful of lots around downtown, but all are very small, and even though the spots should be used only by guests, they will be taken by others. Not much to be done here, as it’s just a question of very confined space in a unique location, but be aware."

"While the heat worked and there were no bugs nor bad smell, this stay was highly disappointing. Because Econo Lodges are privately owned franchises, quality varies, and it’s clear this owner cuts every corner possible. The room looks nothing like the advertised photos and doesn't even have a proper coat closet. Worse, the sheets were stained and had hair left under them—yet the owner's only excuse was that he and his wife personally changed them. There were also noticeable spider webs and dust...
