"We got the suite which was really well considered in terms of the layout. The design of the place was great, just the right amount formal and relaxed. It felt very peaceful being there. It's thoughtfully done. A couple small quibbles: the room card keys deprogrammed easily, inconvenient. And if you take a bath there was no dedicated shampoo / conditioner / body soap so you had to walk over to the shower which had stationary containers of these. "Quite simply, incredible. From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. The location is beautiful, clean warm spacious rooms and so very peaceful. We have travelled far and wide across many countries in many hotels and Kriunes tops the list. When we return to Iceland we will not consider anywhere else other than Kriunes. A huge thank you from my wife and I and we hope to return and live the experience all over again."
