"The location is ideal if you will be catching the train somewhere. For the price, around $350 per night, I would have expected maid service daily, and a bit updated decor. It appears that the hotel hasn't been updated in quite a few decades. The breakfast was very basic. Toast, bagels, cereal, powdered eggs, sausages, pancakes. Friday they had no butter, peanut butter or jellies for the toasted items."

"Showed up after a late flight and room was not available. Someone did answer the phone when I called which was appreciated. Some advanced notification would have been helpful. It left us without a room after a late flight. The location did not match the Expedia photos. The address was in a run down part of town with no signage."

"The rooms were clean. The only issue we had the AC did not work but they brought a portable AC unit in and that worked great. The hotel is a little dated but not a deterrent. There is a large homeless population just down the street. But that is every where you go in Anchorage in our adventures through the city."

"This did not feel like a safe building or area. Room was bare bones but not particularly clean, and the deadbolt had been removed from the interior of the door. Would not have felt safe without my husband also there, and even so we almost changed hotels last second."

"This is an excellent place to hang your hat for a night or two. Conveniently located to Denali, the Denali Highway and Cantwell, it's a clean quiet place (I had RM9, not a cabin) with a beautiful mountain view behind the cabins. I was greeted by Dan, the manager, a friendly and knowledgeable man who recommended the little sandwich shop for breakfast (on the property) and the pizza place across the street (fantastic pizza). The room had everything I needed - a microwave, fridge and a coffee...

"The accommodations were way too small for the cost. The cabin had a full size bed which was all it could hold. We could not put our luggage anywhere as there was no room so we had to move it around throughout the entire stay which could have been a hazard if we couldn’t get out in an emergency. The walls were thin so we could hear the person coughing behind us. The bathroom was way too small so I had to wedge myself in the bathroom to close the door. The shower stall was too small. I could not...

"We stay at a different hotel, The Denali Bluffs Hotel. Check-in was very long and there was only one person checking everyone in. The food was pricey and was served cold. The rooms were clean and nice. The views were great from the patio."

"Adorable little cabins with great Mountain View’s. Staff were fantastic and always professional and polite. If we needed help, it came immediately. Great location near shops, ice cream and restaurants. Amazing pizza at Prospectors . When booking , there was a 49th State restaurant on site. Upon arrival, it was a new restaurant called Takos. We were disappointed with that. Dinner was good, but $12-$19 for a breakfast burrito and coffee was not for us. Would definitely stay again."
