"I love a classic 112 year old hotel. Shared bathrooms were clean and never a wait. Mattress was like a cloud! Everyone is helpful and friendly. Not your type of place if you're uptight and get upset about some wear and tear or hauling gear up stairs. Adventurous souls only!"

Not a big deal, but trading out dirty towels for clean towels was a little inconvenient, especially if I didn’t remember to do it before leaving for the day and getting back late. "

"This was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partner’s birthday. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Location is right in the downtown area near all restaurants, shops, and public transit yet quite quiet. Our 3 night stay was excellent! "This was like having our own 1-bedroom apartment, right on the ocean and walking distance to down town. We loved the kitchen and having a washer/dryer. Wonderful place to stay!"
