Very good traditional breakfast, but a variety of healthy options available too. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, with an off-site parking area that can be completely full when you get there, so you need to find an alternative yourself. "Very helpful staff and lovely, clean room. I went mid-week and it was so quiet and peaceful. Incredible building and surroundings - I especially enjoyed meeting the donkeys and alpacas. "

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they gave us a great recommendation for where to go for dinner on the Monday evening that we stayed ( the kitchen is closed on a Monday and Tuesday for dinner) There is a small car park at the side of the hotel and some parking available opposite, we had no problems getting a space. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. "
