"Though the building and the decor are older, this little slice of tranquility had the most important element in a hotel/motel—CLEANLINESS!!!!!!!
The unit and all public areas were immaculate!!
Clean! Clean! Clean!
And with pride. The staff there had tastefully made this little hotel absolutely charming with its quirkiness. For example, breakfast was the basics—yogurt, fruit, bread, and breakfast bars. No problem. If I want Waffle House, I will go there. However, every inch of this place was spotless. The breakfast area was like an operating room. It had a great and simple collection. It was delightful.
The staff even provided snacks readily available, modestly priced, and paid for with the honor system. A quaint feature that probably exists in few places.
I didn’t want to leave. In fact, I would like to live there.
A little out of the way if you are visiting the National Park, but so worth the drive.
Best little hotel experience I have ever had. "
