If you're lucky enough to run into JeanMarie outside weeding, make sure you ask her questions about this area, she's local and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We spent the entire night shivering from the cold, and the next morning our bodies were sore because we couldn’t stay warm. Also, if you’re booking one of the cabins with a hot tub, be aware that they are not the same beautiful cabins shown in the Expedia photos, which was very misleading. "The hotel had a beautiful view of the river, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. The room itself was clean and well maintained, and we appreciated the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, the beds were quite warm and uncomfortable for sleeping, which made it difficult to get a good night's rest. Overall, the location and scenery were wonderful, but improvements to the bedding and temperature control would make the experience even better."
