"A day away doesn't have to be far away I really like this one it’s affordable, modern, and I love the small touches like the mountain lake view curtain on the window. The rooms have newer tech and from the looks of them they’ve been recently upgraded."

"The place was great to disconnect from the busyness of today’s lifestyle. The host Marsha was so welcoming and very informative and made us a great breakfast. The welcoming committee of Stripey & Sam (cats) and sweet Piper (labradoodle) was awesome. Hope we could come back in a different season next time..:)"

"Room was clean, the staff were friendly, free wifi was great. I was glad to see McDonald's was next door to offer breakfast and dinner. The rooms had microwaves and fridges that were helpful. The parking lot and walkways were as clear as they could be with the snowstorm that we arrived in. The only thing that could have made it better was the breakfast selection (eggs, bacon, bananas or a waffle maker would have been nice). Close to mountain Wisp, have big safe hill near resort for sledding. Bring your own sleds. Cross country sleeping on property is also a plus, but bring your own skis ."

"Loved the cabin! My only complaint was that the upstairs bed got hot during the night making my daughter uncomfortable. We put the fan up there the second night but it didn’t seem to help. She slept on the loveseat. Everything else we loved! "

"We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to...
