My family and I were in town for a family reunion. We chose this property because my sister and I stayed here last year and were very pleased. Unfortunately, this was not the case this time. Here’s why. 1. Bed bugs. My grandson switched from his original room to another room because the fridge didn’t work. It was in the second room where he was bitten. The desk clerk switched his room immediately. But because I booked the stay via a third party app, the hotel manager could not offer a refund. Instead, she offered my family items from the “gift shop,” which consisted of chips, soda and cups of instant noodles. 2. For the first two days, the air in the hallway on our floor didn’t work. 3. On Sunday, the water was shut down for five hours for a plumbing issue. They put signs up around the lobby area and in the elevators a couple of days prior. 4. The hotel now only offers room service every two or three days unless you ask for daily cleaning. This meant that we had to ask for fresh towels almost everyday. Needless to say, we won’t be staying here in the future.
