Perfect location to everything, room was tidy and had everything you’d need. Only thing it couldve done with was a little fridge but other than that was great!

The property itself was clean and appeared safe. The patio door on our room did not lock so that concerned me. The area around the hotel was run down and of course everything is covered in graffiti. We had to walk 2 blocks to find an area of restaurants that was very nice so that was a plus.

We were able to walk from the train station with our luggage, then walk to the square and the Marina area. Lots of restaurants right on the same street.

The hotel is located about a 10 min walk from the marine with several dining options in the vicinity. The hotel provided very basic amenities in the room and no room service food options were available. Room size was also very small. The bathroom shower was un-adjustable and was varying from very hot to very cold on it's own. Very annoying. Also, no room safe was available to store our travel documents and valuables.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ruhig, wir hatten einen Balkon nach hinten raus. Frühstück ging so, aber es war okay.

This little place is unique, down a cool, cobbley street, restaurants and bars minutes away. Just a 5 minute walk to the marina. The hotel is older and not fancy. But the hotel, rooms and cafeteria are immaculate. Breakfast was lovely. The front end staff, cleaning, and kitchen staff were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. A perfect place to catch-up on sleep and head to your destination.

Fabulous two star, great location.
Location is very good. The rooms are very small, but comfortable and cozy and well laid out. I enjoyed my stay very much and was really impressed with the amount of work put into cleaning the room and entire hotel every day. All the floors washed and everything. This two star hotel is cleaner than most four star hotels I’ve stayed at. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Marisa who checked me in and gave me a lot of good information. She also loaned me a kettle for my room that I requested, even though it was the only one they had. She gave me good info about transportation and things to do. The hotel is also very quiet and no street noise at night. I definitely recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again.

Front desk, Root, was amazing. Got me an earlier check in because I wasn’t feeling well. Also listening to people asking for information she gave them in detail info and so friendly. Also she was giving help booking and making arrangements for guests. The area is not the best but so close to train station and old town.

Perfect location, and staff were wonderful. The room was tiny, but perfect for a night or two, and balcony was a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant assistance
The service in this hotel was amazing. We had had our passports stolen and they allowed us to stay for 4 extra days while this was sorted out. They gave sound advice and were able to print assorted documents for us. Rute especially was able to helpus through what was a stressful time and if they would have us.I am sure we would stay there again.

This hotel is centrally located in Faro and is a solid choice but the room we stayed in the first night was super noisy due to it being so close to the busy street. On the second night we moved into one of the interior rooms which was much better for sleeping.

Hotel Sol is a nice hotel, good breakfast, clean and convenient. Rooms are spacious and kept clean. A personal observation I found the bed a bit too firm for me. The staff are friendly and helpful and made it a pleasure to stay. Highly recommend Hotel Sol.

Friendly and well located
Really friendly helpful staff, good value breakfast option and convenient location. Room was quite small but comfortable and fine for the three nights we stayed. Sadly there was an issue with the door onto the balcony so weren't able to use it

Veldig bra hotell
Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt, men allikevel rimelig rolig. Personalet er meget hyggelig, spesielt en man som snakker 5 forskjellige språk og som jobber om natten. Rommene og resten av hotellet veldig veldig rene. Anbefales!
