Room was clean and staff was very nice. The only suggest I would make is the hallway needs updating, warm/ muggy and the carpet is old and smells especially when it’s warm out. But other then that, nice hotel and they try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible

The room was ok. Although someone else's food was still in our fridge that they never cleaned before we came. The hairdryer was very hard to get working and the toilet stopped working/flushing. Thankfully it was right when we were checking out, otherwise it would have been a huge problem. It was still an inconvenience especially based on what we paid fo the room. I've had wayyyy better rooms for far less.

The staff was very nice, the check in was easy and fuss free. The rooms carry the sound of the hallway and doors so you hear people throughout the night. The only issue I had with the room is the carpet needed a rug doctor. Otherwise everything was clean.

The hotel is four minutes from Grand Valley State University, right off of Lake Michigan Drive, which was great. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty descent. Some of the other hotels that offer breakfast usually have staff members come in and prepare the breakfast and that person stayed for the duration of the breakfast time. Here was a little different, the front desk clerk prepared the breakfast which means food was not refilled as readily as was needed. For half the breakfast time there was no sausage, very little gravy for the biscuits, there was an empty hot tray, and I couldn't tell you what was in it originally, someone took the syrup, and the milk was non-existent.

Really enjoyed my stay here. It was clean and convenient. Staff was friendly. Although there was an issue with my room and what floor I was supposed to be on originally the staff accommodated me as best they could to resolve the issue.

Very confident to GVSU. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was so-so but on par with most “hot breakfasts” free with stay. Clean rooms, plenty of linens.

Lovely time.
Good stay. Second time there and feel good. As it beside the GVSU and the parents stays they should be more attentive to have a shuttle or facilitate the communication with the taxis.

The assistant manager and young man at front desk were awesome. The owners daughter who doesn’t even work there is a nightmare who thinks she owns the place. There is black mold in the pool area. The breakfast area is a health code violation.

Super convenient to GVSU.
We have stayed here many times while visiting the campus and it’s a nice comfortable quiet and safe hotel. Of course, it’s a little pricey, but it is convenient to GVSU.

It was a comfortable place to stay. Breakfast was OK. The gravy was not exactly hot and some of the biscuits were quite hard.
