While I was unable to interact with the staff here as I arrived late and left early, I did feel at home here. I definitely appreciated the drink fridge and the well appointed rooms. I was the only person staying that night so I don't know how loud the property can be but it was very quiet when I was there. I would love to stop by again if/when I am in the area again.

I had a very pleasant experience here and would stay again. Kay and Celeste were very sweet and welcoming hosts. They prepared a tasty breakfast every morning and had fresh coffee. The room was small and the building is old so every step is squeaky, but that personally made it more charming for me! Bringing a fan for noise helped with sleeping. The bed in the Notrella room was very comfortable. There is a shared common room with a tv and a shared bathroom for a few of the rooms. The bathroom and room were clean but a little dusty. There is 1 small fridge that is shared. The town of Allerton is very small. We loved the kitties!! This place isn’t for everyone, but if you like small towns and historic buildings you’ll enjoy it.

I love staying here everytime I visit the area. The ownwers are extremely flexible with late checkins and early wakeups! They always leave a wonderful breakfast sandwhich when I cannot make it for their amazing breakfasts! I look forward to my next stay!

Peaceful and very reasonable rate

Enjoyable stay, nice room with antiques. There is a mini frig and microwave in the hallway, and waters and popcorn are free in the reception area.

Lovely stay

Very kind innkeepers. I enjoyed all the tin ceilings, antique furniture, and artwork on the walls. Hearty breakfast was included in the price, and I was relieved that they could prepare gluten-free fare for me because I am Celiac.

It is a lovely old Bed and Breakfast. Beautiful antique furnishings and the staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs, including making me breakfast and leaving it for me to take in the mornings when I had to be gone before 6am.

Wonderful. I suppose you need a reason to visit this small town. This was a perfect spot to stop and relax after a long drive, and gather my thoughts. When you step in it’s like going back in time. It feels like you are staying in someone’s old house. Very friendly. Very comfortable, and breakfast the next day was home cooked amazing.
