"While we are visiting Amsterdam, we looked for hotels in suburb area. Almere is a good choice, since nearby Amsterdam and Schiphol by train. Apollo Hotel is nice choice. Located in city centre, surrounded by stores and restaurants, this hotel offers a quite spacious room in term of European standard. Next to the hotel, there is Bierfabriek that opens until late evening. "

"The hotel was in a beautiful location surrounded by the national park. Hotel room , swimming pool , gym was upto the mark. The hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere with a fireplace in the lobby. Took a morning walk . Staff was great. Nice little town but shops were closed on Sunday morning. I’m so glad we had chose this place even though it was a bit away from Amsterdam. Would love to visit again. Park onsite plenty space . Breakfast was good."

"Staff were very helpful, clean rooms and comfortable. Very close to the airport, returned rental car the night before got shuttle bus back to hotel from Amsterdam Airport then scheduled shuttle for next morning very easy."

"What we like : - It’s a nice hotel with plenty of art work & localized in a beautiful & natural place - Their breakfast is good and we like what we ate at their restaurant. - There are great amenities for kids : kids room, playground, outdoor chess… It’s a nice place for families. What we don’t like : - Swimming pool was too cold. - Our room was very dark. It’s a pity for a suite. - And the main pain point was the staff which was very unhelpful : no advice regarding the area or the hotel :...

"Very nice room (especially loved the bathroom design!) We paid for breakfast, which was a good buffet with a big selection (cold and hot), the hotel is not near any cafes so it is worth adding breakfast. We loved the pool/sauna/steam room with a view of the lake. We would definitely stay again and hire the hotel bikes to cycle into Utrecht (it's also easy on the bus to get there from the centre). Staff were excellent too."
