Alpsee

It's a shame that so many people on bus tours miss this attraction that is virtually right next to Neuschwanstein castle. It's adjacent to Hohenshwangau (Home of the Swans) which is where Ludwig spent much of his formative youth.
Take the delightful walk around if you have the time, it is worth it.
