"Clean room, but outdated, it's clean, but looks very very old inside. Needs work."

"The bathroom shampoo & the body soup pump was either broken or not working or filled. There was some small bottles on the sink counter but they were missing the shampoo. Beyond that everything seem to be ok. "

"Easy highway access. Nice staff. Nothing outstsnding, but the room was clean and th bed was comfortable. The oncluded breakfast has the choice of toast, cereal or pancakes... no fruit. Overall, reasonable for the price, but a little effort on breakfast would sway me to stay again when in town on business."

"It wasn’t our best trip but it wasn’t our worst. It needs to be advertised more clearly that there are no TVs in the rooms and that the bathrooms are shared bathrooms and the rooms are adjoining. We discovered that ALL the rooms on our floor had the same security code to get in which was concerning. The restaurant was delicious and it was very pet friendly however we left a day early due to the lack of TV and shared bathroom situation. The bed wasn’t comfortable enough to tough out another...

"I like staying here when the cabins are available. We last minute booked so we had to get a normal room. We've stayed a couple of different times and while I really liked It the first few times this last time was a huge turn off. It was really dirty, It felt like we were in the middle of a remodel, there was a huge trash dumpster in the middle of the parking lot, weeds overgrowing the parking spaces, the bathroom shower had spots on the ceiling, floor needed to be cleaned. It just wasn't as tidy...

"We were placed in a room that smelled like urine so the staff moved us to another room. The TV remote didn't work and Noone could help fix it. They just suggested we move back to the original room. Overall the stay was ok but don't think I would be back or suggest this place to others. Breakfast was good. Love the waffles"

"The bar was very well stocked and had anything one would want. I was disappointed that this time on Taco Tuesday, they were unable to make me a vegetarian taco like they did last time. I went looking forward to it, and went without dinner. :-/ Luckily, I brought a few snacks. The scones and frittata at breakfast were very nice! Parking is hit or miss. I suggested they give guests a pass to put in their window to prevent non-guests from using the lot. Next time, I'll arrive well before...

"The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean, the spa was filled in with cement. The hotel while clean upfront was a little dusty in the corners. The shower stall was in need of a good scrub, it had buildup. I would stay here again. And for the money I was satisfied with everything but the shower."

"Very basic and comfortable place to rest. This motel is on a very busy and loud(SUVs and motorcycles) corner at the gateway to the American River Rec. area. It is a very short stroll to Auburn historic downtown with pubs and excellent restaurants. It was Uber clean with a great shower. Somewhat worn but, again, location was excellent and wonderful helpful staff. Would definitely stay again."

"The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and awesome! Officially this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The location is wonderful as a rest stop, is next to an In-n-Out, and very close to the American River and wonderful natural hiking spots in Auburn!
