This is our GO TO place to stay in Altoona
Always come here when visiting my son at Penn State Altoona. Lovely, professional and fun front desk staff, decent breakfast choices, (really good coffee), they always make us feel welcome and appreciated and go above and beyond when checking in, when asking for additional towels, etc. Super convenient to shopping and dining. Cannot recommend enough. If anything changes, I will post that as well.

The swimming pool taste really strong of pool salt and got my skin rash and burning skin. The shower glass window not have door to slide the water is everywhere in bathroom floor. The breakfast seems not very healthy tooo greasy and too much cheese.

Feels like home!
The suites are amazing!! It’s like staying in a condo. Kitchen, big bathroom, lots of room. Doesn’t feel like a hotel at all. Super clean! Highly recommend

Wonderful Stay
I rented a suite with my family for the weekend to celebrate my daughter's graduation at PSU. We found the staff to be very pleasant and the lobby to be very clean and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean and the continental breakfast was very satisfying. Our stay was wonderful and we would happily return for future stays!

Very Nice Property and Very Comfortable
This was a lovely hotel. My niece and I traveled and stayed here each having our own rooms. They accepted dogs, which was wonderful. The rooms were very clean. My tv was a little fussy and the front desk fixed it immediately. Then my door lock battery went dead and they fixed that immediately. The service was spot on. They have a super convenient snack area to pick up some items. The fridge and microwave in the room were bigger than what I have in my home. The breakfast area was very nice and they offered a wide variety of foods. Overall, the stay was extremely comfortable and I would highly recommend this property.

The only thing I would have to complain about is My room was quoted plus tax at 150.00 an we had to pay 183,00 if Expedia are going to show discounts for the hotel That is what I should of paid not 30.00 dollars more

Convenient, with Extra Amenities
Location convenient to food and shopping. We are still not dining in, so it was very easy to do take-out dinners and eat in the room on real plates with actual silverware. What a luxury these days. Only 2 issues: 1) Feather pillows terrible for those with allergies. 2) Why in the world have hotels taken away doors on the showers?? Third hotel we have stayed in the past month with no shower door! Shower was drafty and cold, and even a little water splashing out to the floor creates a dangerously slippery situation. Please - bring back the doors!

Excellent stay
Very nice room, was clean, heater was going when I walked in, which was great as it was a very cold day on arrival. Service was great and friendly. Under the bed was not vacuumed and there were some old soda stains on the door but other than that the room was very clean and quiet.

There must be better places to stay in Altoona!
Not up to expectations: The room feels cramped, with the kitchenette squeezed into the entryway and practically no vanity in the bathroom. The kitchen is under-supplied (e.g., just 2 glasses for 2 guests, with not even paper cups in the bathroom). And when the streaming services like Netflix failed to connect on the TV, the only help the front desk was prepared to offer was a phone number for tech support -- we were expected to hang on the line ourselves in a failed attempt to get someone competent to fix the problem. On the upside, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the parking is easy. Breakfast is limited to the usual choices. Internet access is simple, but tends to be slow.

What a great hotel! We were staying for just one night on our road trip but just loved our stay. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the beds were super comfortable! Our room was very spacious and the shower was amazing. Breakfast in the morning was hot and had a plethora of options, even gluten free bagels which was a big bonus! Would stay here again and enjoy the beautiful Altoona area.

Very clean, amazingly comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast left a little to be desired, packaged muffins, nothing hot but it was due to COVID.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We serve a hot egg and hot meat daily in addition to 16 other items on our large breakfast buffet. we have signs that list the items on our breakfast buffet.

Overall, my stay was just OK. But the biggest problem was Cockroaches! My wife and I encountered multiple cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen.

Love the patio its great. If you arrive later in the evening or go out for the night, parking is tough at the hotel.

New. Clean. Excellent fitness room. The entrance is difficult, even dangerous to turn into. Located right beside VA hospital. Travel to Altoona 3 times a year, will be staying there from now on.
