"I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s very expensive for what you actually get, especially with all the hidden fees. They charge daily for self-parking in an open lot (with plenty of space), and many amenities come with extra costs that aren’t worth it.

"We enjoyed our 9 day stay! Rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The property is kept very well, beautiful outdoor pool, jacuzzi and the gym has great options for everyone. There was plenty parking, WiFi worked fast and the variety for breakfast was impressive and consistent every morning! We come to FL every year and wish we would have found this hotel years before but next year we will for sure book here again. Thanks for such a great long stay, it was perfect."

"Where can I start? The room was clean and nice. But that’s as far as it goes. The food was terrible. The breakfast buffet was cold and they ran out of food and dishes. The more crowded it got, the more dirty it was. The television in my room didn’t work as well. I wanted to watch the basketball game and the channel wouldn’t come on. Parking is a nightmare and the traffic to get to Ana Marie Island or Sarasota is brutal. I should have stayed in Sarasota. "

Full Story: Look, I’m a reasonable traveler. I’ve stayed in budget motels before, and I know that sometimes nature finds a way indoors. When I walked into my room at the Super 8 in Ellenton after a long day at the beach, and a cockroach decided to take a stroll across the pillow, my family and I were definitely grossed out.
