"Room was very clean the view from the room was looking over the river, having a balcony was lovely if it was summer time it would have been lovely sitting outside. Room 204 highly recommend. Evening meal of chicken supreme was excellent. "

"The staff were very helpfull. The person on reception carried my case up for me. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only problem I had was that I have leg problems and there is no lift. Because the hotel is 300 years old there is no way a loft could be installed. I'm glad I stayed there."

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !! "Stayed 18th April, four of us girls, and it was just the perfect place after a full day hiking. The room was spacious, clean, and had nice little touches, biscuits, water, milk, which made a difference. Beds were really comfy, exactly what you need after a long walk. The spa was spot on, swim, sauna, jacuzzi, just what we needed to relax. Great value as all four of us could stay in one room, which made it more fun and easy.
