Hotel Des Arts was a great find! The staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean, the breakfast had plenty of delicious options and the room looked identical to what was advertised. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
This hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were so unique and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for seeing all Amsterdam has to offer.
We had a larger room for a family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) and it was beautifully furnished and designed. The breakfast was a great start to our day. We appreciated the AC during the hot weather and the complimentary refreshing water at the front desk. The location was convenient and easily walkable to the main sights in central Amsterdam and the train station.
Great location convenient walking distances to museums, restaurants and shopping. Surprised to find very good air conditioning. New bathroom and comfortable spacious room for 4.
Only down side were stairs that you have to carry own bags up/down. Could use help with that!

Very nice room, okay breakfast, great service, great location.
Great location, steps away from Rokin metro station and 25 mins or less walking from central Amsterdam, museums and flower market. Lots of choices for shopping and restaurants all around. Hotel also offers a discount for canal boat tours which are across the street.
I booked the Standard Single Room for myself. Though small, I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort, bathroom and was quiet at night. Also chose the option with breakfast which was simple and useful in the morning. Hotel is beautifully decorated and also has a comfortable lounge area next to their gift shop. Staff very friendly and if I had any questions they were helpful. I would recommend this hotel for those staying in Amsterdam for a few days.
Fantastic hotel in a perfect central location but quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and the room was great but there were a lot of narrow stairs as our room was in the attic!
This quaint, centrally, located hotel, was the perfect location. Breakfast was substantial, staff were attentive, and the rooms were very clean.! I would highly recommend it.
Wonderful and soleful hotel with everything right around the corner. The staff was amazing, the hotel clean and well kept. It is an old building, so stairs and crooked floors must be expected. Good selection for breakfast. Loved the artwork!
I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming heritage building near the canal - it was absolutely gorgeous. The property is very well maintained, and full of beautiful furniture and themed decor. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, we felt welcomed from the moment we walked through the door. The breakfast offered was probably the best I’ve ever had at at hotel!

Nice breakfast and very kind staff. Good location close to all you need
The room was lovely, so well decorated, great view of the canal and street. The bathroom sink was a lovely touch. Plenty of coffee in the room too. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so welcoming. Lots of lovely items in the bar area and shop. Hotel location is really central so easy to walk everywhere, great base for exploring the cultural locations and shopping. I will definitely stay here again.

Great location, the rooms were very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.
It’s a good location and the rooms are good for the price. The breakfast is just about a pass. A friendly and warm hotel. Good for a single traveller who just wants a safe place to stay at a reasonable price.
Charming and central location. Room for 3 was quite nice; bathroom very clean. Excellent breakfast!!
Spoke with Lisa at front desk the most. All staff were friendly and helpful. Temp fridge storage, printing document, luggage hand-off to delivery service all worked out. No elevator, so the workout to take big suitcases up and down the winding stairs need to be noted.
