Great restaurants, we even came back to Amsterdam for our Christmas dinner at The Duchess (in a private function room), which worked perfectly. Would recommend. However, wasn’t thrilled with the room I was given: the hotel was overbooked and I ended up in a separate room tucked away behind a staircase, which felt a bit spooky and oddly “Trump-style”. Our stay at the W was an absolute experience! We were celebrating our anniversary, and Melissa at the front desk went above and beyond — we arrived to find champagne, roses, and chocolates waiting in our room. We were also treated to complimentary drinks at the W Lounge, which was such a lovely touch.
