"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Grotta. From the start, they arranged for free transport to and from the Ferry Port. This was extremely convenient and cost effective for us. We enjoyed the friendly driver who handled our tranport. When I had a problem with a change in time on our ferry ticket, he quickly transported me to the Ferry ticket office to resolve so I could get to my ferry on time. The breakfast was spectacular. There was so much food and it was deliciously prepared. ...

"The room was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. It was a beautiful room and it was conveniently located to a lot of things very walkable. The only thing we did not like was that we gave them laundry to do and as long as you fit it in a bag, then they charge you €20 for that bag when we got the laundry back, it was folded in two bags and they charged us for two bags, even though we have been led to believe that whatever would fit in the bag was for €20 so they ended up charging us for three...

"I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Naxos. The owners are lovely and very helpful. It has a great location with public parking near by and a couple minutes walk from the port. The owners are very accommodating and will give great advice and tips where to visit and places to eat. Our room was clean and we had a partial sea view. Breakfast is included and was delicious. "O quarto é sensacional, com uma vista incrível para o mar e o templo de apollo. A única coisa que poderia melhorar é que a jacuzzi fica na parte externa da varanda e não tem divisória nenhuma com os quartos ao redor e do lado, então fica com zero privacidade ao utilizar. Pegamos uma noite de muito vento, ou seja, por estar na parte externa, isso também dificulta a utilização, nossa estadia foi de 3 dias e só conseguimos usar 1. Então acho q essa parte poderia melhorar. O resto é simplesmente...

"Excellent location! Very clean and well maintained. Comfy beds. The staff were very accessible by WhatsApp after hours too. There is a small kitchen which we appreciated and staff kept it stocked each day with the basics including bread, cereal, coffee, butter, some fruit, jam etc. I would def recommend. Loved the hot tub too."

"Archetypo is a great budget friendly option. Very quaint, with a lovely host, Mina. We were offered room service breakfast every day and free shuttle service from and to the airport. Not really in an easily walkable distance to most of the restaurants and shops. Mina gave very helpful recommendations of restaurants and things to do."

There is no front desk 24/7 since its not a resort, so you speak to him through WhatsApp. Although it may seem weird to some, its actually much easier and he is there all the time when you need him.
