"This hotel was under construction when we checked in . But the staffs were extremely helpful in everything. There is no elevator in the property but the staffs helped us carrying up & down our luggages . They even helped us loading our car . The rooms were very clean and the staffs made sure we had everything we need for our stay . Our special thanks goes to Mike & Amanda who made our stay very comfortable & memorable also ."

"Based on all the reviews. We were not disappointed at all. The rooms were updated and very clean. The only thing would be a nice coffee station at the front desk for the morning coffee we had to run to Starbucks every morning. All in all it was a very pleasant stay."

"This property was far overpriced for the quality of the room, the amenities even the breakfast. The lobby was lovely, but the room is needing to be renovated, and the pillows and beds were unbelievably uncomfortable. "Toilet would not flush every time it was used. Hit or miss. Asked the front desk for help and the desk attendant’s only advice was to try to flush it again. When I told her that would make it over flow, an employee that was socializing in the lobby said he would plunge it. When it happened again, they just gave us the plunger to deal with it. Safe did not work. When asked for help, employee came to look at it, he just said he didn’t have any knowledge on how to fix it. Then explained they fired...

"This property was everything others reported: very clean, quiet, spacious, and with a high quality full-size kitchen set-up. It felt like an apartment, not a hotel room. And all for a better price than you can find anywhere else in expensive Anchorage. The outside of the building is a little scruffy but the apartment itself is everything you need. Comfortable (firm) bed, very smart tv, even an extra sink if someone else needs the bathroom. A handy location, too.

"Staff was very responsive, the unit was clean. We stayed one night, a family of 5 with one on the pullout (a futon that converted to a bed). The pullout would probably be comfortable for a child, but my adult daughter woke up with a backache- nothing against the property, just an FYI, in case you’re traveling with people who have ailments. The two queen beds were very comfortable and we appreciated a room that could accommodate 5 people for a short one night stay. Great location- a nice bonus...

"Overall positive experience.
Downsides: no elevator (but there was a porter available to carry our bags up the stairs). Also our room (202) reeked of smoke despite it being Non-smoking room.
Positives: great fireplace in the lobby sitting area, beautiful view of Lake Hood to watch the seaplanes take off and land, spacious room, exceptional water pressure in the shower, delicious food at the on site restaurant. Also, a convenient free airport shuttle was another positive."
