"The photos on the Expedia web page are deceiving: the cozy dining room is nowhere in sight, the rooms are dingy, moldy, póorly lit, and dirty. The outside is decayed and badly maintained. I can say nothing about the continental breakfast served on a shelf in front of the check in desk, because I avoided it. And I did not use the airport shuttle because I had my own car. All and all, an overpriced dump."

"Trash bins were not cleaned when checked in. The bed frame was set against the wall. Had to crawl on to the bed. Staff tried to move the frame. There was an electrical fitting on the wall blocked the move. Poor planning in the lay out."

"I chose a Wyndham hotel because I thought they had standards like Hiltprofessionally.
The first thing I noticed when I walked in the door was the terrible smell, like mold and mildew. Our room was not any better. We actually had a bad case of mold in the windows. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the bathroom were all empty. I had to go to the front desk to ask for a hair dryer.
In the two days we were there I saw five different people at the front desk. Only one was dressed...

"I have stayed here before but I will not stay again.
The good news: breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, toast/muffins, yogurt with granola, cereals and milk/juices. The front desk and breakfast staff were wonderful and very hard working. The laundry room was convenient though they need a second dryer.
The bad news: 1) the train! There are trains on both sides of the hotel and they blow their whistles at all hours of the day and night! It’s SO loud! 2) the hardworking staff are over worked,...

"We ended up not staying here because Expedia messed up the reservation and the hotel didn’t have us down. While we were figuring out the mess the hotel staff was so kind and went out of their way to help. Even though we ended up having to go to another hotel they still displayed top notch character. Highly recommend them strictly off customer service.Abby was a true gem!"

"Was able to check in early. Room had a door that was able to be shut off to bedroom, to sleep 4 adults, with 2 on sofa bed. Bathroom needed a big update but beds were comfortable. "The hotel was in a great location. It was close enough to everything, but still far enough away. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options. Staff were always friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Anchorage for vacation. My only complaint is that the bathroom door was very hard to open and close."
