Hotel Mewah di Annecy

"This is a luxury hotel with fantastic views over the lake. Valet parking and luggage transfer (you can get to your car if you forget something) which was really helpful. Housekeeping is superb and the hotel is spotless. Be aware of the difference between La Table and Salon restaurants, especially if you only want a continental breakfast, as it isn't immediately obvious. Excellent selection of drinks and wine by the glass and helpful bar staff. My spoken French didn't rate with them, so...

"A beautiful hotel nestled in a stunning landscape. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful, restful, and relaxing. That said, I was disappointed by the additional cost to access the spa, which is €20 per person, per hour. Given the relatively small size of the spa, charging guests by the hour felt a bit excessive, which deterred us from using the spa. The breakfast was also underwhelming, especially at €25 per person. "Fantastic location being walkable to restaurants, cafes, all the gorgeous sights and the train station. We stayed in a ‘Deluxe room, with lakeside terrace’ - the room was spacious with a comfy bed, good sized bathroom with toiletries and plenty of storage in the bathroom.
