"Our room was relatively clean, but the bed was uncomfortable for sleeping. Problems we encountered: 1. There were exposed wires on the non-functioning smoke detector. 2. There was an obvious electrical short circuit in the reading lights above the beds, and the light switch was broken/missing on one of these. 3. The security chain on the door was missing. "We booked this specific hotel because it has an indoor pool, however, the water was freezing cold. And the next 2 days, the pool was simply out of order. The walls on the rooms are extremely thin and you can hear every step the guest next door takes, all the people that walk through the hallway talking, kids running, and at 7AM there was this banging noise like from a machine or something that went on for like 15 minutes. "Made our reservation on Expedia, when we arrived at the hotel they indicated they had no reservation and had no room for us. Us. So we had to go elsewhere to find a room. Called Expedia to complain and they said a refund would be at the discretion of the motel. They said it would be up to us to work it out with a motel but they would advocate for us."
