When we pulled up to this hotel we noticed that there’s a HOLE at the front of the building. The area is also not that safe as there were people lingering outside. It looked poorly maintained and the windows were extremely dirty. We couldn’t even stay here. However, the staff is very kind and helpful.

The facilities was terrible door seem to have been broken and patched, the door locking was screwed on with metal roof screws, the room was filthy dirty and damaged, the carpet full of stains seem oily, make up and dust it seemed like the didn’t vacuum it. The bathroom looked like they didn’t clean it. The window blinds were dirty and full of stains. The bed clothes were stained too. I did not dare to try the breakfast. Over all is a bad place to stay. Ironically the front desk staff was great

This was my first time staying at a La Quinta hotel and I left with mixed feelings. Currently, the appearance of the hotel is not what it should be and is now undergoing renovations, which is good, because the look of the heavily soiled and stained textiles in the carpeting, upholstery, and draperies are unsightly. Despite these imageries, the views from the spacious rooms are great, especially from the upper floors where you get an almost panoramic view of the mountains in the distance. This is due to the unusually large windows that let in a lot of natural sunlight. The prices for the rooms are very reasonable, and the location is even better. Services and amenities are within walking distances and for those requiring transportation, it is often a short trip. For those without a vehicle, ride share services are also easily accessible, with a short wait. The thing I did not like about my stay is the behavior of some of the staff, who have a habit of slamming the doors until the whole building seems to vibrate. They also congregated a lot, especially on the third floor, talking and laughing loudly outside the rooms. At times, it is unclear why they were even on the floor because there is a lot of scurrying from room to room, under the guise of maintenance or housekeeping, yet the rooms and hallways are not impeccably clean. The complimentary breakfast is a nice idea but the menu is outdated. Hopefully, the renovations will include a revamping of the selections.

The only two staff I encountered were nice. They were both helpful with checking in/out. That’s all the help I needed. But the hotel room itself is NOT AT ALL how it is pictured. I’m not sure where those pictures were taken, but that’s not how the room looked. I could care less about photos on the wall, but there weren’t any. There’s no lamps on the night stands. Our tub was peeling of paint and had a dip in it. The towels were dirty. The bathroom was in bad condition. The sink was also peeling of paint. There were random strips of clear tape hanging from the ceiling. There was a small hole in the wall that I felt the need to cover. The paint on the doors are peeling. The room across from us just had a paper taped with the number. Obviously it’s priced how it is for a reason. You definitely get what you pay for. I would look for a different hotel. I understand not everyone will care, it is just a place to sleep. But aside from sounding like a “hotel snob”, I would highly recommend just looking somewhere else. Even just for a better room in general.
