"It was a nice hotel for a taste of local culture. Although the place is dated, everything was clean. The check in/check out woman was very helpful and contacted a taxi for us anytime we needed one. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The downside is that you are not allowed early check in - we got in 5 minutes early but I wouldn't plan on that. "We stayed just one night at the Green Laguna after returning from a week of sailing in the BVI. Lyndsey and Chase so kindly arranged our transfer from the ferry to the hotel. We arrived exhausted. But we were so pleasantly greeted by the owners. They carried our luggage to our room. Gave us lots of tips as we settled in. "The property looks like and abandoned ghost hotel. It needs a lot of cleaning, both in the rooms and in the common areas. The staff (I only saw 2 in three days) was nice. I barely saw any other guests.The pool has no water, without notice in the website. The place could be very nice if it were cleaner and tidy. It seams investors have fled and left a pharaonic construction plan unfinished. The site states "under new management"... I hope the can revive the place."

"Easy to walk to from the ferry pier. Walking distance to restaurants. Super clean room. Has a locker room for luggage in case your room is not ready, this really saved us from carrying our luggage around the island because our ferry got to culebra super early."
