"Very nice hotel, well maintained and clean. The breakfast choice was quite limited but you could order your choice of eggs. The A La Carte menu was fantastic, Lobster or crab pasta was delicious and a very big portion as well as very reasonable prices. The only downside is the location which is on the main road and not as easy access to the sea by walking. "

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic. "Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and safe. Good location. We was supposed to stay at Kendwa, but because of a bank fraud (!) we left the original plan, and booked through hotels.com at this place. We are very glad how everything turned out. This location at Nungwi is good. At Kendwa we would be stuck at our resort. Here we had more flexibility on what to do all the time. Good aircondition at the rooms (you don't want to stay at Zanzibar without) We got most of our money back after 30 days,...
