"Terry’s Villa is truly a hidden gem! The location is perfect — just a quick 2-minute walk to the beach, close enough to enjoy the ocean but tucked away for peace and quiet. The breakfast was absolutely amazing every morning — fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, and delicious juice.
Danny and Tabitha made sure we were well taken care of the entire stay. They’re so kind and helpful, and Danny can even accompany you on excursions or help plan local trips if you want an authentic experience.

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic.

Quiet and safe.
Good location.
We was supposed to stay at Kendwa, but because of a bank fraud (!) we left the original plan, and booked through hotels.com at this place. We are very glad how everything turned out. This location at Nungwi is good. At Kendwa we would be stuck at our resort. Here we had more flexibility on what to do all the time.
Good aircondition at the rooms (you don't want to stay at Zanzibar without)
