"The Falmouth Inn is in a great location, especially if you're taking the Island Queen Ferry to Martha's Vineyard—it's just a short walk away.
Overall, the hotel appeared reasonably clean, but it had a slightly worn, not-quite-clean feel. When we checked in, there weren't any towels in the bathroom, but a staff member who was working nearby quickly brought some to our room, which we appreciated.
The indoor pool was nice, although I don't think the retractable roof has ever been opened. Opening it on nice days would make the pool area much more enjoyable.
The complimentary breakfast was basic but well stocked. One small improvement would be upgrading the plastic utensils—they were too flimsy to cut even simple breakfast items.
Parking was another challenge. The lot filled up quickly, and we barely found a space when we returned later in the evening. Since the hotel doesn't issue parking permits or passes, I couldn't help but wonder if some non-guests use the lot to walk to the nearby ferry.
Overall, we had a decent stay. The hotel met our needs for the two nights we were in town, and its convenient location was definitely its biggest advantage."
