"The rooms are beautifully presented and the amenities were really nice. For a travel stop it was very convenient and the staff are friendly. The carpets in the rooms are suffering from wear and tear and could do with a better clean. The rooms needs a bit more of a clean in general. The shower also started dripping in both rooms (which were at other ends of the property) at around 3am which woke us up. "Very professional staff at check in. Extremely efficient process. Bar staff very welcoming. Food was superb. Dog friendly but think the charge per night was a tad excessive. Having said that, we will definitely use the hotel again."

"Please do not contemplate staying here over the summer months, we stayed over royal Ascot weekend and I cannot put into words how hot the rooms and the corridors were it felt really unsafe. They give you a desk fan in the room however this did absolutely nothing for the room temperature. Although the facilities are still excellent I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the food in the Market Street restaurant (both evening meal and breakfast).
