The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience. "The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must! "

"Le rapport qualité prestations et prix ne sont pas du tout au rdv. Malgré une chambre certes atypique, pas de rideaux suffisants occultant, Douche avec eau chaude inexistante selon les heures. On ne peut pas se tourner dans la baignoire. La configuration est inadaptée et le tuyau de la douche est trop court. Le petit dej est très décevant, et le café n’a aucun goût. Je suis très déçue de ces deux jours. Et surtout du prix payé. !!! En revanche, mon accueil a été excellent par la...
