Bathroom good size, good shower but the shower gel looked as it had been left behind by last occupant. Disappointed with breakfast no fruit salad and when asked for poached eggs the staff could not provide (really) Overall underwhelming and would not recommend."

"We stayed for one night and our room was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The bed was king sized and we had a great night's sleep. The hotel also has a well- stocked and reasonably- priced bar. Ideal for a night cap!"

You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. "A perfect B&B, gorgeous rooms and meticulously cleaned. Breakfast is small but good, the host is helpful and welcoming. The only downside is that it’s quite high up above town, the walk is a bit nasty, but a lovely view."

"The property was very clean but very warm! Aircon would be beneficial especially with not being able to open doors/windows without risking midges joining you for the night!! Bed was very soft and bed sofa not overly comfortable but ideal place to stay for a few nights. Great being so dog friendly,having the restaurant on site (though quite pricey!) and the station being so close giving access to Oban and Stirling. Fabulous views over the loch too!"

"Undoubtedly the most magical place we’ve ever stayed, words and pictures just can’t do The Little Cottage in the Woods justice. Every corner of the cottage and gardens reveal more delightful touches! We were sorry to have to leave so soon and wish we could have stayed longer. Even gypsy, the resident German Shepherd, provided a warm welcome to both the kids and dogs! Lynne and Jeff were the perfect hosts - friendly and helpful without being imposing.
