"Relaxing short stay in a beautiful area of New Zealand - the room was clean and spacious, staff were relatively friendly and helpful. It was a short walk from the rooms to the main reception area and restaurant for breakfast, which was delicious. Would've been nice to have some sheer curtains or blinds to be able to let some natural light in without people being able to look in from the outside, but overall we had an enjoyable stay and hope to return again."

"Parking was free via a ticket from the motel. The carpark was gravel which made moving the heavy cases difficult. Our room was at the very end of the ground floor so it was a fair hike to get there, this could have been problematic if there had been any mobility issues The room itself although starting to show its age was good Staff were excellent and it was novel to have a bowling alley as part of the complex. A great hotel across the road for meals."

"Pulling up to this estate feels like you are in a movie! The building and rooms are so gorgeous and well maintained, we felt like royalty! Especially the breakfast, it was incredible and the best included breakfast of any hotel I have been to! "

"We came during June so site was relatively quiet. But this park is very nice. Gorgeous view from every cabin of the mountains and facilities are very nice. Kitchen area is clean, spacious, and has a nice sitting area with a TV. Location is nice and central. Cabins have good heating for when it’s cold as well."

"Wasn’t my best experience this time. No furniture that made it easy to continue work or even have a meal there which I found odd. Booked a mountain view room which I did not receive. I would reconsider if I would go back again. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy."

"We left a personal item in the room after check out. The staff was very helpful and keep it for us. It’s very very professional and made me feel safe when I stay here. I will come back next time in Queenstown. 5 stars"

"I would struggle to say anything positive. I stayed here during Covid and it was fine. Clearly things have gone down hill."

"This property is more for younger travellers. My husband has mobility issues so we needed to change the assigned room. Although the restaurant was fine, it really wasn’t to our taste. Not as adventurous as we once were. Would have nice to be able to get basic eggs on toast."

"Room was lovely but paid extra for a lake view room but the view was more of the next building roof than the lake. Very disappointed. The dining options were limited as the main restaurant was closed for my second night and the other restaurant (Stacks) food was very average. My first choice of meal was not available as they 'ran out' (at 6pm) and the second choice i had to send back as it was awful. Nice place but they need to lift their game for a 5 star and expensive price."
