"The rooms were clean and well-maintained. Although the hotel is older, it has been updated nicely and feels well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The coffee was disappointing - perhaps it wasn’t fresh - but that was a minor issue. Overall, I had a decent experience. I was only staying for one night before an early morning drive, so it was simply a quick stop for a good night’s sleep."

"Our toilet wasn't working when we arrived. They said they were sending someone up, no one came. The best they did was offer for us to use the restroom down stairs in the lobby, weren't compassionate at all! We asked for another room and we didn't even get a response!"

"The location is about a 15 min walk to everything. It sits right next to the train station, which is great for those traveling by train. Just think about noise (which was actually not bad at night). They offered shuttles to the train station and airport. Very helpful. Front desk had issues with scheduling them and placed our reservations on a post-it. My 930p shuttle ultimately picked me up almost 20 mins late. The hotel itself is not the cleanest or the best maintain. There was dust...

"The chair in our room was so old and stained it was just gross. Some staff was helpful and friendly and some I felt like an inconvenience. Driving up to the hotel it looks pretty sketchy. Fine for a place to stay overnight before catching a flight. The parking lot had a broken down RV in it - does someone live there? Close to train depot. Close to the Coastal Trail for a walk or run."

"This place was terrible. Dirty we had two towels no washcloths no hand towels. And not a lot of anything else. We had a TV through the cracks your cable that went to nowhere so we got about four channels. Luckily I plugged my computer in with an HDMI cable and was able to watch some good shows off my computer. I would highly recommend you not stay here."

"I don't know if I will visit Anchorage again, but it would be worth a trip just to stay with the Deals. They came to Alaska in 1964, just after the earthquake, and they have many fascinating stories to tell. Such lovely people! Besides which, our room was beautiful and spotless, breakfast was great, plenty of parking if you have a car, very convenient location."
