"Great location, amazing beach. The spa was really good too. Rooms are big but could have been cleaner (they are clean but not so throughly) and the staff are quite abrupt and not interested in giving much information or asking about your stay."

"Great value in Asbury Park! Amazing location right on Ocean Ave at the south end of the boardwalk. They have free parking but it’s very limited so we ended up using the lot across the street that was $40 for 24 hours. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Bed a little on the hard side, plenty of good pillows. Balconies overlook the pool or ocean Ave. The pool is great with two bars and lots of hang out space. There is also a super fun night club on the first floor. I use ear plugs to sleep so the noise didn’t bother me at all but it’s something to be mindful of. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is a less than 10 minute walk to all the coffee shops, restaurants and stores in the downtown area and right across the street from the boardwalk and next to the stone pony so you can get to any of the beach adjacent places you want quickly. Love the beach, the boardwalk, restaurants and overall vibes in Asbury. We will be back and would definitely stay at the Empress again!"
