Incredible Experience
First time staying here and it was amazing! Staff were helpful, friendly, and kind. The room was comfortable, restaurant onsite was very good having some Top Chef contestants and mixologists. Everything was delicious! And the lounge onsite was perfect for an after dinner drink at the bar. Walking distance to the boardwalk, shops, the beach, and world renowned music venues. Highly recommend!

A bit pricey than most. It used to be a BnB called Tides. Now it's a boutique hotel with a pool, attached restaurant and bar. Check-in and out was seamless -- all done electronically and thru a mobile device. Asbury Park boardwalk is a short distance away. The hotel was fully-gutted and renovated, so everything is brand new (as of July 2023).

Overall nice property
Overall this is a fantastic property. The bar lounge is great and the rooms are nicely updated and clean. The pool area is beautiful but as a guest was disappointing only Adirondack chairs and not chaise lounge chairs were available (we even arrived when the pool opened at 10 am). Also, the pool water needed clarifier or shock since the water was cloudy.

The restoration of the former Tides is fantastic. The design throughout the property is exquisite and combines the historic character of the property with a clean contemporary beach style.

Loved everything just wish a fridge of some sort was available…leftovers and drinks weren’t easily stored which is nice to have on vacation. Other than that it was a perfect stay. Thanks so much!

I received an email with an entry code the day after we needed it, leading to difficulty accessing the place. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. Our room was small and somewhat noisy with music and crowd sound from the bar. The front porch was large and very pleasant.

Perfect little spot in asbury park
Easy Contactless check in and check out. Shower and bed was amazing. Nice lounge connected downstairs and lovely patio. Would definitely stay again.

The St. Laurent Social Club & Guest Rooms offers a near perfect get away, whether for a night or longer. The facilities are super clean and beautiful. It is very quiet. Sophisticated lounge and pool. The restaurant, Heirloom, offers a divine dining experience. Add to all of this, the staff is always super accomodating.

Excellent location, beautiful rooms and perfect atmosphere for night away. Make sure to get a reservation at Heirloom and have drinks before at the cocktail lounge. Worth it. Excellent stay.

I really enjoyed staying at this property, it went above my expectations! Beautiful renovated space and even better pool area - we ended up spending all our time there and felt transported out of NJ. Our deluxe queen room had plenty space, I do wish we had a hanger rack of sorts and full length mirror available. Would absolutely stay again.

St. Laurent opening season review
We had a great girls trip weekend here at the St. Laurent! We know the hotel had just opened so we were impressed with the quality , look of the hotel, and the drinks. Some of the service could use some work with the pool deck having more staff as no one came around a lot and they messed up our order one time with no remorse at all. However, most of the staff was extremely nice and accommodating even giving us local recommendations. We also would suggest having a better check in service with more clear signage of where things were located. Sitting on the porch, people were constantly asking us how to get into the restaurant which was really not our job and disrupting our stay.

Hello Fred, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay! I see you booked our "Full Room" which is our smallest room at 150 sq feet. If you decide to give us a try again, next time visit our website and look at our different room options, we list the square footage of each. We have rooms ranging from our Full Room at 150 sq feet up to our Deluxe King Rooms at 300 sq feet. As we are a historical building in a residential neighborhood, you are correct, we do not have an elevator and we do not have our own parking lot. However, parking is abundant and free and there is a paid lot two blocks down on the off chance you don't find street parking. Thanks again for coming, hopefully you'll give us another try in a different room.

Exceptional Opportunity
We arrived early in the day to enjoy the pool before check-in. Pool area is impeccable. Immaculate and all white. Very well appointed, with beautiful chairs and towels. Perfect drinks and delicious food served poolside by friendly, attentive staff. No kids!!! (I love kids, but not when I am in need of an adult break). (The Hotel policy is to permit you to use their pool facilities the day of check in through the day of check out. So great). We found on-street parking, easily, though I am sure it is not always so. Doesn't matter - this Hotel is worth it. If you must, drop off your bags on the great front porch and go park somewhere free on the street. Plenty of scooters to grab to get back to the Hotel. The contactless check-in is easy. Staff is attentive, via text/email. No keys - all code. Just simple. The room is small-ish but fresh, clean and comfortable. We decided to go there at the last minute, so we had the one room that has a bathroom (not shared) right across the hall. Fully disclosed up front, and a minor inconvenience that was well worth being able to hang out here. The bed is super comfortable. Linens are crisp. Nice sized closet with lots of decent hangers. Heirloom, the Hotel's restaurant, is fabulous. Interesting, and absolutely delicious food, served by professional, attentive and friendly staff. We absolutely loved The St. Laurent. Will go back every chance we get!

A taste of South Beach arrives to Asbury Park
Recently opened and had a great experience. The restaurant and lounge were phenomenal. Highly recommend the Espresso Martini. An amazing experience with a resort-like atmosphere in Asbury Park. Not a family vacation destination.
