Furniture scratched and needs updating Rugs very worn. Housekeeping came in to change out linens and coffee pods , empty trash but didn’t make bed or clean toilet Bed skirt only put on half way when I arrived It was very noticeable but housekeeper never adjusted it even though they were in every day Seems they just went in to get out as soon on as possible . I won’t stay there agss as in.

I was happy with the stay. Nothing to complain about but nothing stood out as a WOW. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The service was nice too.

I am so sorry about that. I sent housekeeping in and we could not locate any spiders, but thank you for letting us know. I will have the staff spray for them if we find them.

Nice hotel. The pool was drained but by the time we got back to the hotel room anyways the pool would have been closed anyways so no big deal. The only complaint is the ac in our room on the 4th floor didn’t work very well. It was definitely a bit warm in our room. Hot to open with window to get some air flow.

We repainted the bottom of the pool and the paint has to dry. I am sorry that you missed the special notices on the websites stating the pool was closed. There was visible disappointment to many guests who were expecting a swimming pool experience this weekend. Breakfast was underwhelming and the chairs needed a good dusting. The building itself could use some attention. The beds and pillows were comfy though and the housekeeping staff was so helpful and accomodating. Multiple amenities are close and convenient. It was fine as a base.

Leather on head board and chair need replaced due to it peeling. Bath mat they gave us looked used already. Toilet looked like it needed to be scrubbed inside and the water wasn’t hot it was warm I’m pretty sure the blow dryer got hotter than the shower did. All the rooms definitely need upgrades. Mattresses need replaced you can tell multiple people have laid in these beds… very uncomfortable

I stay here once a month or so. The facility is well past worn out and dilapidated. The staff are friendly and things are clean for the most part. However, lately the complimentary breakfast is cold and/or possibly recycled from the previous day. This trip the coffee was cold and on day 2, empty. And that was at 8:00 AM. I’m not fussy about much, but if you can’t even provide ice and hot coffee, you have serious problems. Unfortunately, Hampton Inn across the street is twice the cost so this is the best you’ll get for this price point in Ashland.

Thank you for your review. We do not use food from the day before. Everything is made fresh each morning. Thank you for letting us know about the coffee. I will make sure that the coffee is checked , we want to make sure that our guest are receiving fresh coffee during their stay. And the ice machine in located on the first floor just past the front desk. If you have problems locating it, please ask the front desk agent and they will point you in the right direction. Again thank you for your opinion.

If possible, I would give this s.hole a zero. Dirty and disgusting. Our towels stunk like cigarette smoke. Breakfast? Forget it - better to outside and chew on some bark

My key card didn't work, and the person in the next room had the same problem. The tv remote didn't work....tv was unplugged. The clerk was cheerful, polite and very helpful. No breakfast was a big disappointment.

This accommodation had many issues. The check-in staff nearly double charged me for the room but I told him that i had already paid for it. THEN, he looked at the paper invoice and said "oh, yeah." The room furnishings were deplorable. The headboard had been battered in on the left side. Furniture had chunks out of it. Dusting had not occurred especially on the bed lamps. I could make a line in the dust with my finger. There was a dead fly on the bathroom floor. The carpeting was worn and dirty. The elevator carpeting was the same along with the hallways. This place needs a major overhaul and upgrade. There was a bus of college kids there for a track meet. Despite having prior notification, the hotel was NOT prepared and ran out of many basics such as orange juice and food. The food manager was inappropriately making faces and rolling eyes at the number of people in the eating area. She was obviously not prepared or not told of the large number of people who would be at breakfast. I would definitely NOT recommends this as a place to stay.

We were in town overnight for an event at Ashland College. It was easy and quick to check in our room was clean and comfortable and we were on our way the next day.

The first room we checked into smelled like smoke so we had to switch rooms. The second room had the heat turned up all the way and it was 85 degrees when we entered the room. It took a couple of hours to get it to a comfortable temperature.

I stay here often because the only other hotel in town to consider costs twice as much. A few of the staff are friendly, the manager is rude, the facilities are worn out but clean enough for the cost. Very few things to do or restaurants in town. It is what it is.

Heating in room was not working so had to move to another room. Personnel were very good about that. Ice machine on our floor was not working. Surprised had to return to first floor for vending.. Coffee was cold. At breakfast it was hot as was most of the breakfast.

This is a pretty average hotel and below Wyndham standards for amenities. A little overpriced for what it is. It needs some updating - peeling wallpaper, aging furnishings... Staff were nice and helpful, location is about ten minutes from Ashland University.

There were k9 dogs there and although we love dogs, they were barking. The hotel is dirty. Bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Very loud all night. Just pretty gross.

Stayed on 1st floor and heard K-9 dogs tromping around and barking. Very frustrating. This experience was not like the last. They should not allow pets in the hotel even if they are K-9 dogs unless they are on 1st floor and no barking.

I am very sorry that one of the K9 dogs were barking, next time please inform the front desk and we will inform the officers. As for them staying on the first floor only, we do not have enough rooms on the first floor to have all the K9 officers stay there. The K9 officers will always be welcome at our hotel, because they are officers and they have our respect for the services they provide to their communities and we thank them for their service. What a dump
This was the worst hotel I have attempted to stay at. I stayed for thirty minutes before leaving. There was black mold in the bathroom and blood on the blanket. Hotels.com and the hotel itself refused to refund my money. Do not stay here pay a little more and stay anywhere else.
