Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Outside perimeter of the hotel is mostly under construction so it’s quiet messy and not walkable. Rooms are basic but one of the rooms didn’t have hot water. Amazing view of the Nile. Staff are very friendly and helpful though.
Staff great. Ali, breakfast mgr, very attentive. Asked for fruit, delivered a bow. Room ( and terrace) expansive view of Nile. Bed great, water hot and everything worked. Only negative is a little removed and taxi, tuk tuk don’t know it but transport cheap and for big room, big bathroom and view, would stay again.
This property was exactly what I needed. It was private and quiet. The chef prepared the food I needed which brought me joy. The staff and management were great and the cleaning staff were awesome! Grateful for Ali and Ismail for assisting me and my husband in enjoying our stay!
The room was spacious and the balcony had a beautiful view of the Nile River. The restaurant on the roof was also good. The hotel is hard to find and hard to get to for drivers. Not sure if stay here again but it was fine for one night.
Excellent views.
Large rooms with everything we needed.
Staff were fabulous, especially the restaurant staff. WE had breakfast and dinner there everyday of our 3 night stay and they could not do enough for us. Location a bit out of the way as a car is needed to access everything, but we knew this when booking and used taxis at very minimal costs. The views were worth living a bit further out.
The hotel view is very beautiful Nile river view. Despite it is not very easy to access, taxi services is available. There are stairs in front of the reception, but staff were nice to carry our baggage. When we left we were in a rush, so they packed breakfast for us. Very clean room. Worth the price.
I recently stayed at this hotel, and I was absolutely captivated by the unique and stunning view—it’s truly one-of-a-kind and something you don’t come across often. The setting alone is enough to make the stay memorable.
What really stood out to me was the exceptional hospitality. The staff was incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and taken care of. Every interaction was warm and professional, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a place with breathtaking scenery and outstanding service, this hotel is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!
Friendly staff. Walking distance to Corniche, Nubia museum & restaurants. Great view of the Nile. Good hot water, good breakfast. Lovely, open air rooftop restaurant (if you're not there in January like we were).
Wifi slow or nonexistant on our tablets. We never could get any wifi on our iphones.
Room safe not bolted down.
Room thermastat seemed to have a mind of its own.
No indoor eating option. Breakfast was 8 degrees celsius and very windy. Everyone was freezing. (We found out on our last day that if you manage to get the one table in the NW corner, it is in the sun and is not as cold as the rest).
While the view of the Nile from both our rooms was spectacular, the only thing better was the service we received from the staff. They were so polite, friendly and accommodating, ever ready to help and make sure we were satisfied with everything. We have travelled extensively and can confidently say that the staff at Blue Lotus are some of the best we have experienced. The location is further out and really only accessible by car. Nothing nearby to walk to, but we knew that and were more than happy with the location. It was a quiet area, but with some construction happening. We ate at the restaurant so after our days out sightseeing, we stayed in for the evenings. Just note there are multiple exterior steps to go down and then up again into the hotel. I was travelling with an injury, but still managed ok. The rooms were large, good AC, excellent views, free water and complimentary breakfast was provided. Restaurant staff were excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending Blue Lotus hotels in Aswan.
Very nice new hotel in Aswan. The views of the Nile are incredible and the rooftop restaurant is a great place to enjoy a coffee or dinner while watching the feluccas sail up and down the river. The property is brand new so some kinks are still being worked out, but I predict this place will be a fantastic stay in Aswan. The staff are incredibly friendly (they prepared us breakfast bags on the day we left) and were happy to help. Hotel can also arrange tours and taxis.
Hotel is located really far from the city. Taxis are not finding location. It is on the middle of a slum very unsafe.
Restaurants are none existing and you have to eat on the hotel which is super expensive and have only 2 options to choose. Kebab or spaghetti
Hotel neuf, propre.
