"A relatively new hotel with very comfortable room and bathroom. AC provision especially great during heat waves. The restaurant is excellent and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Area around the hotel is a bit rundown but with a car there are plenty of lovely places to visit in Somerset and Devon. Would recommend staying at this hotel."

Neither we nor the hotel manager could shut them off. One single fan provided little/no relief and room temp was + 30c degrees and never got to a comfortable temp overnight. "This hotel does not have staff as you do a self check in so it is not possible to rate this part of the survey. The hotel offers no amenities, however there is a kettle and tea/coffee provided . The room was perfectly fine for one night. Comfortable and clean although needs updating and there was a bleach stain on the carpet. The room was unbearably hot. A fan was provided but it was not affective in the size of the room so maybe worth the hotel provided a second fan. Other than that not a bad...

"It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-( We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer. Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Beautiful sunset over the restaurant terrace."

"Check in very slow and after travelling 3 hours with elderly disabled parents, our room was not ready, which is understandable. But the only offer to get changed for a wedding was in the changing rooms a flight of stairs down or the toilets! The girl on reception was adamant there wasn’t any other option available and was very unconcerned of the needs for my disabled mother.
