"Was greeted by Percy, she smiled, talked to us, and helped us find a GREAT mom & pop restaurant. Every time she saw us, she'd smile and ask if everything was okay. The room was very clean, pool area was kept clean as well. The breakfast was very yummy. When checking out, the gentleman greeted us with a smile and made sure everything was okay. Would definitely go back!! To me, customer service is 60% what makes the stay better! They were 90% great!!"
Ohio University Inn & Conference Center

"Everything about this hotel was excellent. However, I did have one complaint. In the dining area next to the Starbucks where I dined once, I was shocked when seeing the bill for 2 drinks- it was $32.00!!! Although I was given a food menu, I was not provided a drink menu, nor was I told about their exorbitant drink pricing. Be forewarned - don’t order drinks at this hotel unless you are prepared to be robbed!"
Hometown Inn Athens

"Room was perfect for needing a place to shower and sleep for a weekend of moving my OU kids in! Not a great hotel for hanging out on. Beds were full size so note that if you want to snuggle or not. Also suggest your own soap and shampoo as the ones in the room are tiny and not foe more than one person. Staff was helpful. Not any extras but would stay here again."
Highlander Motel
8/10 Good
"Everything is top notch here. Property is a little off the beaten path and seems mostly to be a residential motel for workers, but it was very quiet and well maintained. I wish the room coffee was better, but most hotels have that lousy kind of coffee. At least there was coffee. No breakfast here, just vending machines. Slept really well here. Staff was very nice. Parking was full at night, mostly gone in morning. Had no problem parking right in front of my room."
