"Excellent! Cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Stanton House Inn. The property is meticulously maintained, the house is as gracious and welcoming as the staff. Our room was spotless, comfortable and well appointed with a mix of modern touches and lovely antiques. The staff is the heart of the home, warm and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious—healthy options as well as homemade indulgences. We cannot wait for another visit!"

"The room smelled like strong cat pee i think it was their cleaning solution.But the smell was terrible. Also some kind of construction going on inside the hotel but never saw anyone working. We booked the hotel on the basis of the indoor pool... but sadly found out when we arrived.It was empty. Just not a very good overall experience."

"Breakfast was good, and the surrounding area was great. There were stains on the couches from unidentified bodily fluids, the tub didn’t work and there was poop on the ground next to the toilet. Unclean and gross, and the air conditioning made a loud knocking noise that woke us up every half hour. Also the ice machine didn’t work on our floor. They gave us some money towards breakfast for the inconvenience but I wouldn’t recommend anyone stays here"

"I booked a room with three separate beds for three senior citizen men. The room was not provided, only room available was a King and fold out coach. They did provide a fold out bed. This was unacceptable and we asked for a second room and was told that they were completely sold out. The empty garage and sparse crowd at breakfast the next day makes me question that."

"Carpet smelled like smoke. Bed lining was stained and of poor quality. No shampoo or soap in bathroom."

"Useless staff. Breakfast seating and order both took eons. Next door alarm went off at 6am on Sunday. Called front desk. No one came up to shut off the alarm until 6:15. Elevator didn’t work—had to carry my suitcase down the stairs. Maid knocked on the door at 9am and ask me if I’m checking out. When I said yes but it’s only 9am, she asked me to put “do not disturb sign” on the door —so rude and unprofessional"
