"My room was a wonderful *cool* home while attending a conference nearby (in upper-90's weather!). I was gone from 9-9 each day, but it was so refreshing to start the day with a shower with great water pressure to invigorate me, and to nestle into a comfortable bed at night with the temperature regulated for comfort. I did not take advantage of the breakfast provided, but it looked like a nice offering. Free parking was convenient to my room, the staff was very helpful when I had questions,...

"This is property is fine for a one night stay. Other than that, I would look for a place with more amenities than this establishment if I you need to stay longer than one night."

"Everything was fine. The hotel is old and could obviously use a face lift; however it was clean and quiet. The toilet in the room "ran" all night and I notified the front desk staff. The staff was kind and respectful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"This is my fourth stay at the Grand Hotel. I appreciate it for so many things such as clean rooms, friendly staff, and great location. My only gripe is the rooms are so large, if you get a room at the end of the hall, expect a bit longer walk to get to the lobby. This will not deter me from staying there in the future !!!"

"Great location. Helpful staff. The hotel needs a major update - many things look shabby, need paint, etc. Pool and hot tub needs cleaned - a little green. Jets don’t work in hot tub. Breakfast just okay. Only hot item is an automatic pancake maker."

"I did not use the amenities that’s why I gave it a four star. The staff and everybody were great there. But, my license plate got stolen in their parking lot. So I had to return my rental car for another which took 2 1/2 hours out of my day."

"Breakfast was good. The lady in the mornings is very sweet and helpful. Excellent location. The key card stopped working an hour before check-out, so I got distracted trying to get a new one. I left my new box fan near the door of my room and didn't receive my deposit back because of it. Stayed 8 nights."

"Beautiful hotel and room. Loved the balcony with the lake view. Great restaurant on main floor. Air conditioner was not functioning well but otherwise amazing stay!"

"It was a very nice and quiet hotel. The only bad thing was that the cleaning lady woke us up tapping on our door in the morning and we even had the do not disturb sign up"

"only bad part was they didn’t tell me the pool was going to be closed but the friendly staff made up for it and were solid"

"Upon arrival we waited 10 minutes before a desk clerk showed up. Upon departure another desk clerk had her mouth full of food constantly. The mattress was so old that just placing your hand on it it would squeak loudly, so imagine what it sounded like laying on it. Just crazy."

"I have always stayed at the best western hotel / very nice place and staff- this was my first time in this one though and the only thing I wish they can change is the breakfast schedule for weekends- since I had things to do early in the weekends I noticed the restaurant wasn’t open yet - weekends they open at 7am - weekdays 6am . Since I left at 6:20am in the weekend I did not get to eat - besides that I do recommend this hotel in this town - very clean though"
