Bed-side table still carrying spill imprint from previius guests. Shower rail came adrift without any pressure. All signs of poor cleaning and maintenance regime. Breakfast offerings were of a high standard, yet guests were asked to pay extra if "brewed coffee" was sought. Close to Central Station, yet major construction works made walking difficult. Stayed there 20 years+ earlier, much better then. Not make another booking."

"Aspects of my stay were up to standard. Others were not. While my room was clean and well presented, the bed was overly hard. Additionally, the pillows were thin and provided no support. The blind mechanisms were faulty on two of the windows. Staff were generally professional, however in the bar area we found we had to make several requests before are initial order arrived. "
