"This was our second stay on Heron Island and now that we're back home, we can't wait to come back a third time. We travel a lot but this island is one-of-a-kind! The amount of wildlife (turtles, sharks, rays, fish, dolphins, birds, ...) that you get to experience up close is absolutely special. Even if you don't dive, you're able to see all kinds of animals when snorkelling. I highly recommend to get up early and snorkel around the Jetty before breakfast. Both times, we spent 3–4 nights...

"Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. It was cold (especially the bathroom in the morning) and with the wind flapping the tent walls all night, it was hard to sleep.
