"We arrived at Hawk house and were greeted by a laminated sign that explained how to check in. We called the number, but there was no response. We called the bell (several times) and eventually a young lady came to check us in. She showed us to our room and was helpful. The room was a twin room (we had booked a double). "Lovely small place which was nice and quiet. Room was clean. Couldn’t hear any planes even though we were very close. My only problem, and it’s not about the actual accommodation, but it’s not that easy to find, being tucked away in a small lane which is difficult to see. It’s on the opposite side of the Airport Tavern and from there you need to head UP the road and past The Forge. But it is within easy walking distance of the airport, only taking approximately 10mins"

"Lovely comfortable B&B with a very friendly owner. Our bedroom was perfect...comfortable bed, large clean seperate bathroom with a roll top bath overlooking the garden & countryside beyond. We had fresh milk for drinks, kept in a mini fridge & a wide variety of drink choices. We enjoyed chatting with Martin, one of the owners. Parking is on the roadside...plenty available. The town is easy enough to walk, but there is also plenty of parking available in Castle Cary, the interesting local town."

"It was a very nice stay with an excellent couple. Warm welcomed. A very nice big dog was also present to welcome. I had to say hello to the dog as he was so friendly. Very cooperative host. Family environment. Residence is upstairs like three rooms and bathroom outside the rooms. Mostly quiet. Nice and clean and a proper communication with the host throughout my stay. I was invited warmly to have breakfast but had no time. Will miss this stay."

"Bed was reasonably comfortable. We were there during a heat wave, no fan in our room but one was provided for our second night. Parking was a bit of a challenge. For Canadian travellers, not the traditional B&B, breakfast is not automatically included in your stay, check to see if you have paid extra! Very busy street, bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper and book a room facing the street. Check in was fast and easy."
