Compact but super-clean & functional bathroom, with a great powerful shower. High quality towels & linens throughout. Room amenities were of a high standard, plenty of hanging space for clothes, plus drawers for my bits. Spacious desk/workspace, with plenty of power outlets. "Always like staying at the Mount rooms Staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the rooms could be tidied up a little bit more and maybe some pictures on the wall but always a nice friendly stay. Train station 300m away straight into Cardiff central. Could walk straight onto Barry Island from the hotel in about 20 minutes and you’ve also got the lovely area of the cold knap pebble Beach close by."

"The room we received was not what was presented on the Expedia website. We booked for three travelers so we were trying to be careful In choosing accommodation. The sleeping alcove in our room (108 ?) does not have a window, so it was warm. There was also a lack of outlets for charging our phones and tablets. Had to unplug the TVs. Food at restaurant was good."
