We loved bath arms! Excellent food (Sunday roast, dinner and breakfast all brilliant), really friendly and accommodating staff, rooms nice and spacious and very good location for accessing the gorge and walks etc without worrying about expensive parking! We would definitely come back

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and spacious. We didn't notice road noise through the night. The staff were really helpful and breakfast excellent. We also had an evening meal which was fabulous! We'll be back.

Room was clean just needed attention to curtains and curtain poles. Bedding had a rip just little details like that let it down in that department. Staff couldn’t do enough for you very friendly. Food excellent first class. Would recommend 👍

We loved staying at those charming pub. Staff were all happy, helpful and efficient, the pub is well cared for and beautifully decorated. Our room read lovely, comfortable, week appointed and nice and clean. The only exception was that the old windows and picture trail in the bathroom need a more thorough clean, but nothing major. Lovely personalised touches and really good food! Would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay here, a very large room and bathroom with extra touches. Water and snacks and a great hospitality tray. Their food was delicious with great service in restaurant and bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for exploring the Gorge. Free parking as well, don’t forget to register your car at the bar. Would definitely recommend.

Parking was easy and plentiful and it was easy to register the car for the duration of our stay for free. It is about a 10 minute walk to the gorge so an ideal location. The service was exceptional at the bar, in the restaurant and when checking in and out. The breakfast was really good (and they were happy to provide more or less of items on the full English at request) and included in the price. The two dinners we had were very good, the roast was potentially the best I have ever had (the pork), which is saying something as I have had many roasts. I don’t leave many reviews as a lot of places are nice but this was exceptional for the price. The staff there make this a great and welcoming place to stay. We will certainly be back.

Superb

It is a beautiful place with a wonderful restaurant. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The ONLY issue we had is, being in our 60s, the lack of hand rails in the bathroom. The shower is an in-bath type and we would really have found a couple of handrails very useful. One as you get in and one next to the shower. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

A comfortable one night stay. Staff were great. Food was lovely. Bed was super comfy and everything was clean. A welcome letter on the bed was a nice touch; it detailed that the hotel windows could not be changed owing to conservation planning rules. However, rust/ black mould in bathroom could perhaps be tackled, but this is a minor detail. Overall, we found the room to be great. The addition of food treats - peanuts and jelly beans- was a thoughtful inclusion. Free car parking too behind the hotel.

excellent friendly establishment.

stayed here for 3 nights. staff and accomodation were excellent. room very clean. food and drink excellent ( beer was too good!). Easy to get to the village centre and plenty of parking. Overall stay excellent. Will be back!

Brilliant Bath arms

Great hotel at the right price, great staff and service, breakfasts are very good and the restaurant serves delicious food definitely use it again.
