"Everyone was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and I was able to keep my dog which is a big plus."

"I don't know how this property has such great reviews. The room we stayed in was not up to par. The beds were terrible and the pillows were lumpy. We only stayed for a good night's rest and we didn't get that. The room was outdated, carpeting looked fairly new. If the beds would have been comfortable I probably would rate it higher but when I pay for a good night's rest and don't get it, then I rate it as such."

"The Laurel Hotel is a very charming place to stay. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. We come to Danville to see family and have usually stayed in Airbnbs. The cost of this hotel is much more economical and you don’t have to take out the trash. Ha. We will be back here again. "

"Hotel has obviously been remodeled with some updates but still dated. USB plug in light didn't work, had to ask for toilet paper and killed a roach crawling across the floor."

"Man at front desk announced my room number real loud while staying there by myself. Room seemed dirty. Construction in front of building for new hotel was so loud."

"Breakfast was great! Room was definitely clean! Only down side was parking. We went to the Casino concert and got back to the Hotel at 11:45pm. No spaces were available in the front of building, therefore we went around the back. As seniors we did not want to park in the rear because there were folks hanging out, drinking on premises! I did not feel safe to even try to park and walk to the building! Such behavior should not be tolerated! We finally decided to park near the trucks at...
